Sangiovese Boira, Oak Aged

Boira Organic Sangiovese 2023 is a deliciously approachable Italian red from the rolling hills of Marche. Made from 100% organically grown Sangiovese grapes, it offers a generous, fruit-forward style with plenty of character.

Deep ruby red in colour, the wine opens with inviting aromas of ripe cherry, juicy dark fruits and violet, followed by subtle hints of spice, liquorice and savoury earth. The palate is medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, with vibrant fruit, smooth tannins and a lingering finish.

The wine is matured in large oak casks, adding gentle spice and complexity while allowing the natural fruit character of Sangiovese to shine through.

Serve lightly below room temperature, around 16–18°C. Perfect with pizza, pasta and tomato-based sauces, as well as charcuterie, grilled meats, lamb and medium-aged or hard cheeses. A particularly good match for spaghetti Bolognese, rich ragù and hearty Italian dishes.
